Includes Two Distinct Cycles

Water is delivered from Streivor’s Plumbing Control Station to the trough through a pressurized rinse head that produces a pressurized rinse throughout the trough’s interior and primes the liquid-seal trap.

Tempering & Waste Line Protection

Streivor’s Tempering Technology is fully automatic to ensure compliance with plumbing codes that require wastewater exceeding 140°F to be tempered before entering the waste system. Patent Pending

How it Works

A Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) is installed within the trough. The RTD continuously monitors wastewater temperature entering the trough. When the RTD measures a temperature above the desired setpoint, tempering water is instantly delivered through a rinse head fitted with spray nozzles.

Technology

Retail Food Code requires daily floor trough cleaning to help prevent debris, pathogens, and vermin. Research showed that maintenance practices in commercial kitchens are often inconsistent.

Auto-Wash Technology solves this issue by releasing water combined with detergent and sanitizer through a rinse head creating a pressurized wash throughout the interior of the trough.

Ability to be programmed with scheduled wash cycles, providing consistent maintenance support and helping commercial kitchens maintain sanitation and code compliance.

Automatic Trap Priming

Plumbing Codes require all traps be equipped with a priming system to prevent sewer fumes, gases, and vermin from entering the kitchen. Due to poor or non-existent liquid-seal trap priming we discovered many kitchens have been experiencing these issues.

Auto-Prime Technology solves these issues by providing a fully programmable priming system that maintains consistent plumbing code compliance.

How It Works

During each Prime Cycle, water is delivered from Streivor’s Plumbing Control Station, to the trough and through a rinse head spraying only the amount of water necessary to prime the trap.

If the system detects that Auto-Wash or Auto-Tempering has been activated, then Auto Prime won’t be activated, therefore, reducing the amount of times the trap is primed, effectively capitalizing on water usage, preventing foul odors, vermin, and always maintaining code compliance with a primed trap.
