Canopy Single Filter Bank CKV Hoods

Type I Canopy Single Filter Bank CKV Hoods are designed to capture and contain grease laden vapors and gases from cooking operations. Streivor hoods utilize thermal updraft technology and industry leading grease extraction to provide superior performance with low operating costs.

Each hood model has been tested over specific types of cooking appliances and for a maximum appliance temperature. This allows the ventilation designer to specify the correct ventilation hood – one which is specifically designed to exhaust all of the contaminated air produced from the cooking appliance  under it while also operating at the lowest amount of air and energy as possible.

Streivor Air Systems™ Wall Canopy Box Design CKV Hoods with SmartAire™ Technology are fabricated with two continuous adjustable high-velocity, low-volume streams of air along the length of the front interior of the hood. Each SmartAire CKV hood is equipped with one lower and one upper airstream that work in combination to increase the capture and containment efficiency of the hood.

Each airstream is positioned and directed to obtain the maximum positive benefits of a stream of air with the minimum amount of negative turbulence.

The lower airstream directs a stream of air at an inward, downward direction towards the front of the cooking appliances. The upper airstream directs a stream of air at an inward, upward direction toward the exhaust opening in the hood’s grease filter bank.
