Type I Canopy Single Filter Bank CKV Hoods are designed to capture and contain grease laden vapors and gases from cooking operations. Streivor hoods utilize thermal updraft technology and industry leading grease extraction to provide superior performance with low operating costs.

Each Hood model has been tested over specific types of cooking equipment and for a maximum appliance temperature. This allows the ventilation designer to choose the correct ventilation hood – one which is specifically designed to exhaust all of the contaminated air being produced from the cooking equipment under it, while exhausting the lowest amount of air possible.

Streivor Air Systems™ Wall Canopy Box Design CKV Hoods with SmartAire™ technology are fabricated with two continuous adjustable high velocity low volume streams of air along the length of the front interior of the hood. Each CKV hood is equipped with one lower and one upper air stream that work in combination to increase the capture and containment efficiency of the hood.

Each air stream is positioned and directed to obtain the maximum positive benefits of a stream of air with the minimum amount of negative turbulence.

The lower air stream directs a stream of air at an inward downward direction towards the front of the cooking equipment. The upper air stream directs a stream of air at an inward and upward direction toward the exhaust opening in the ExtractAire™ cartridge filter.

The CWCC Compensating Wall Canopy with combination Internal and Downward Supply Air Ventilation CKV Hood has been designed, engineered, and tested to exhaust and filter contaminated air produced from commercial cooking equipment.

The CWCC can supply up to 10% tempered or non-tempered make-up-air internally into the hood capture area or downward over the chef, thus enabling the ventilation designer to control the climate around the chef and reducing the amount of conditioned air being exhausted from the building.
